    I see 18 in stock.
Are you looking at it from Japan?  I think Amazon won't show items to locations that it doesn't ship.

:763: for pointing that out. Just out of curiosity, I played around with the shipping address and realized that if I were in Japan or Australia, I'll get nothing. If I were to be in Spring Valley, San Diego I'd get my sprocket on Tuesday, February 7.

Now, its time to start some more serious hunting down of part numbers, sizes and availabilities.

This seems to be one of the most popular threads on the forum so far, but frankly, it's grown quite long.
I read all of the 15 pages and kept notes to summarize the information scattered all around and I would propose starting a new thread with that summary to save people time.
Would that be OK with the forum etiquette here?

If that would be OK, then I'll open up a new thread, but I'd like some more information.

Regarding this comment from DeepBlue on p.14:

It also calls for replacing the lock washer.  Anyone know the specs?

I would like (with some evidence, if possible) confirmation that the tightening torque is indeed 85 Nm.
Without seeing the drawings I can't definitely say how important this really is, but there may be more to it than just not losing the sprocket.
Oftentimes torques are specified for adjusting preload and clearances.

Regarding the lock-washer, I found similar one for larger engines on BritshLegends here:
    https://www.britishlegends.fr/en/front-sprocket-washer.html?id=206664159&quantity=1

By looking at the pictures, you will understand why replacing the lock washer is necessary.
For those larger engines, they also have the washer-nut kit for replacement, which is nice (though a bit costly).

Anyway, I would love to know more about the specs of the washer, original Triumph part numbers, etc. to try to find alternatives.

I see no reason why the original lock washer shouldn't be re-used, as long as it is crimped in a new spot.

Well, you can definetely do that. And it is a sensible advice, if you don't have a replacement washer at hand. No one would like to order new parts in the middle of a job and wait for them to arrive for a couple of weeks. (Been there, done that  :034:). So just flip it back and be done, is what I would do too.
But if the manual says that you should replace it, I take that as more definitive. (Once again, refernce needed...  Anyone?).
The reason the manual would say that, is that depending on how you bend back the washer to remove it, it may change the flatness and the way if fits against the nut and the surface below. (Talk of torques and preloads, and clearances again). It's not because Triumph wants to make a quick buck.
Put another way, if I decide to go with this mod, I am looking at spending at least half a day working on the bike, maybe more because I haven't had taken it apart yet. The cost saving of a few bucks is not worth it for me and if I can prepare everything in advance, I'd feel happier.

So any helpful hints in that direction?

Are there any considerations for newbies in non-restricted markets?  Any increased chance of stalling at take off?

I'll post the part number when the washer arrives.  Torque specs can be confirmed at triumphtechnicalinformation.com (subscription required).
