New member from Scotlamd

Hi Folks,
I am just about to buy a Tiger 660 Sport.  I am trading in a BMW GS310 which is too slow. When I turned 60 I bought a Honda VFR 800 then a Tiger 800 before buying the BMW.  Previously I owned a Francis Barnet 250 two stroke then a 650 Thunderbird.  On turning 25 marriage, work etc got in the way so bit of a break until I retired.
I stay near to Loch Lomond and do most of my riding in the West Coast of Scotland on sunny days. My other hobbies are sailing, golf and scuba diving.  If there are any divers out there be good to hear from you.  I have been diving for 48 years all over the world.
I hope I enjoy and find useful this forum as much as the others I have been in.  I look forward to getting involved and initially getting advice from the forum.

  Bill, you live in a fantastic part of the country. I've driven up the west coast in the past, over the sea to Skye and beyond. Would love to ride the bike up there sometime. Just took my new TS660 on a three-day mini tour to west Wales and back to the Welsh Marches. The bike went really well but I suffered a bit from some discomforts with the ergonomics and wind noise. But I am slightly...a lot older than you. Hope there will be time enough to get up to bonnie Scotland one day on the bike.
