140 MPH under ideal conditions is what I have read.

Not that I am about to test that, as 80 MPH on a motorway is more than enough.

If you cannot go faster that 108 is your bike restricted?

You're in the US.  Your bike isn't restricted.

Are you saying you maxed out at 108?  WOT, 6th, flat road, full tuck and that's all it would do?  Seems lower than I'd expect.

I've not gone beyond mid 90's on the Tiger, but seemed it had quite a bit more on offer if I wanted.  My street triple feels more stable and planted at those speeds, so when I want 100+, it's on the striple.  Only on the track of course.

Someday I'll go to germany, close from home, to test the full speed of my Tiger, in total legality.

Yup, WOT, 6th gear, flat interstate but I have handle bar riser from SW Motech, factory top case and hard bags. It has plenty of rotation in the throttle grip but just will not go past 108mph. Pulls hard right up to it. I know it’s not a FJR but just trying to find out where the top is.

My now 10,000 mile bike apparently will do 119 mph at 9000 rpm in 6th where it hits a brick wall lol
110 to 119 mph takes a very long time!
    140!
Must of been down a mountain!
It just proves how Triumph have geared the bike for real fast use on the road at more sensible speeds.

Ignore 140, I'm not sure where I read that as the only reference I can find now is a site called TopSpeed that clearly just make things up. Most sites say a more sensible 130mph, slightly less than the Trident 660 which would make sense being heavier and larger with essentially the same drivetrain. Aerodynamics play a big part so if you are not in the optimal position, tucked down behind the screen in the low setting then you wont get the same top speed.

108mph is coincidentally(?) the highest speed I've seen on the 660, screen up, clean configuration otherwise.  Time for another track day to test this.
