Probably too late now but when you get an update done if you ask the for the ECM Status Summary printing out before you can see the version numbers. This can be helpful to other people if there is an update to a particular module they haven't had related to their issue.

I was promised a Bluetooth update by Triumph but there was no update for the connectivity module when I took it in. So now I don't know if they messed up and missed it as my BT was completely disabled during the update or if it was part of the instruments update.

If had been given this report I would know for certain as it says current value / expected value.

Just had the update done and all the functions work it plays shuffles forward and back just no sound from the headset !!

Its further than I got before the update but still a pretty poor show from Triumph I think !!
dealer not interested in the least !! its a triumph issue was all I got so ill ring them today and have the bluetooth module removed and just use the Garmin XT for nav, music and Phone calls

I replaced my headset (I had more reasons than just this), but the problem I had was to make music work, the headset needs to support A2DP (stereo), and my old headset was just mono.

I have 3 Senna 30k headsets all with the latest software installed and still nothing !! I think I will return to Triumph and ask for the Bluetooth to be removed for a refund, its a lot of money for something that simply does not work, I did the same with my 1250GS and have to use a Android phone when I go out on that but what a faf having to get calls diverted to that phone every ride !!
Ill stick with going through the Garmin XT it works for all the media I require

The Triumph implementation these features is very poor but it seems the common theme here is Apple. I assume you have tried disabling if possible on IOS, or unpairing the headset to phone before going headset to bike to phone?

Before you give up can you get hold of a device on IOS15 to try? Apparently you have to do what seems like paring it twice, on Android it is clearly not a second pairing it just asks for more access. If you can get it working there is hope an update may fix it.

I have no idea what Apple or Triumph are doing to make the experience so bad. I tried connecting my work iPhone just to understand the issues other people were having and I gave up thinking it might be the phone being locked down for work or the latest IOS. But that makes no sense, if they followed the standard it should just work.

My new headset is a Sena 30k also, and it does work with the Triumph BT system (pre-update at least).  I used it a bit this past summer.

In the end, I removed the Triumph BT from my audio system.  Too unreliable, connects sometimes but not others... It seemed every time I stopped for gas or a break, either the phone or the headset would fail to connect.

And even when it worked, it was strange... I had the "last calls" display card enabled, but it would only show if someone called me while I was riding this leg... If I just started out, I couldn't call anyone.   But if they called me first, then I could call back...

Anyway, I ended up just having my Sena connected to my GPS and phone in a triangle (all connected to each other).  Worked better this way, even if I can't control it with my thumb as I'd hoped.

The other thing I noticed is the sound quality was worse through Triumph connect than straight to the headset. This is not uncommon, it probably falls back to SBC for compatibility with all devices but I cannot tell unless I do packet capture. It is noticeable though as I paid for better speakers and custom ear mould, flat filters so it can sound like good headphones.
