After every 2000km's i fill about 0.2l of engine oil, riding conditions are highway and temperature is about 25-30c. Is it normal?  :084:

Assuming you had an oil change at the 600mile/1000KM service then I'd say no.

i had a small KTM whilst learning before my Tiger 660 (first big bike) - that had a small window for oil check and when i got my tiger (and at run in service) i did ask that, is there an easy way to check - the short answer was i was told its not really necessary as they dont lose oil... i was a bit surprised but taken them at their word and almost 3000 miles in with a good mix of urban and motorway..  not checked it over that period... (maybe i should and maybe not take them to their word literally??)..

either way id also say it doesnt sound right either

Check the oil, because many ts and trident owners discuss about this.

I've just come back from a trip where I did about 1800 miles and the bike does not appear to have used any oil, which is what I would expect from any modern engine.  My previous bikes, R1200 and R1250 BMWs also did not use any oil between services.

When I got my 660 it used around 200 ml oil in the first 600 miles (i topped it up 3 times) I checked with the dealer thsy said up to 1L per 1000 miles is acceptable! I thought this seemed a lot. Over the next 1500 miles oil usage has been very low. I have not added any oil for last 3 or 400 miles.
