    Seat will not unlock

    Hi,
Has anyone had an issue with the seat not unlocking so that you can remove the seat?    I understand that putting the seat back on is a challenge, but my new Tiger Sport 660, when i turn the key counterclockwise to unlock it so it can be removed, nothing unlocks and the key will not stay in the unlock position, it springs back to the locked position.

Try just pressing down on the seat as you turn the key.

You Rock Domoincan!   That did it!   I pushed down on the Pillion/Passenger part of the seat and that work!   Thanks alot!
BTW, is that normal?   Does yours behave that way too?   The owners manual does not mention that.

Yes ... sometimes.   I'm used to that as my NC750x did that a bit too after installing the Shad seat.
Some of the guys on the forum here have added washers to loosen up the lock... you could probably search the forum for it ... mine is still factory, so a bit tight still.  Especially if you add straps under the seat for a tail bag or something like that.

Thanks again.   Yes, I also saw a video on Youtube on how to add washers to the lock mechanism to give it more space.   Just odd to have to do that on a new bike.
