Maintenance and Servicing / Re: Damage to L front brake line« on: Jul 01, 2022, 07.29 pm »
Thanks for making the group aware of this issue. I just checked mine, and sure enough, it has been hitting the fender and marked it. Fortunately, no damage to the brake line, although it is slightly marked. I have put a protective sheath on the brake line, and a thin strip of self adhesive rubber tape on the fender, to prevent the brake line from touching it.

Hey Adam - I went with info from a Facebook post of a Trident 660 owner who had just installed the 17T JT sprocket. I also saw a post on another forum. Hope you manage to get hold of one ok, I know they're in really short supply. I got mine from Amazon in Canada, and since then they've been unavailable here.

Tiger Sport 660 Main Chat / Re: Pulsing / jerkyness at low speed constant throttle« on: Jun 18, 2022, 04.52 pm »
I'm surprised at complaints of jerkiness at low speed. It's something I just don't experience with my TS660, in fact it's by far the smoothest engine fueling-wise that I've had in my last 5 bikes (Buell XB12R, Yamaha MT09, Aprilia Shiver, KTM 790 Duke and now TS660.) I actively tried to make it happen yesterday by riding at a consistent 50 kph (30 mph) in 3rd gear, and no flat spot\jerkiness at all. I did find with my ultra-jumpy KTM that chain adjustment was critical to reducing the jerkiness - so I wonder if those experiencing this have excessively loose chains? Just a thought. Maybe some of our bikes have updated firmware? No idea, other than it's a complete non-issue with my bike, but I understand the frustration it causes - all my previous bikes bugged the crap out of me!

I contacted JT Sprockets directly the other day, and got a reply from Bike Alert, which I think is their distribution arm. They said that they are out of stock, but they are on order. Couldn't give a delivery date yet. So at least it looks like there will be some in production, hopefully soon. I want to buy another, to have ready for when it comes time to replace my chain\sprockets. Yes, I do intend keeping this bike for a long time!
